Never Be Left in the Dark with Night Vision Goggles and Scopes

When night vision goggles and scopes were invented they were strictly used in military applications. German engineers had primitive models functioning by the end of WWII, and many German tanks employed them in battle against Allied forces. Early U.S. design technology of the NVDs (night vision devices) was classified, but inventors in the private sector soon caught up and commercial applications came to the market. Law enforcement agencies used night vision goggles and scopes for monitoring purposes, and private investigators soon picked up on the innovative equipment.

Private investigators rely on night vision goggles for their surveillance needs. Much of the activity they track happens after dark, and night vision goggles give them the opportunity to follow subjects at night and from a distance. Night vision goggles are expensive, but that cost is often passed along to their clients who are eager to obtain certain kinds of information.Hunters are also making use of night vision scopes and goggles. Bushnell and Zeiss are two leaders in optics and they have entered the market with night vision scopes that offer excellent technology for viewing wildlife after dark. While most states ban actually shooting an animal after dark, the night vision scopes give hunters the chance to observe their quarry to track location and movement.Todays night vision goggles and night vision scopes are considered to be Generation 3 and Generation 4 models using highly advanced technologies. Military and law enforcement continue to be major users of this equipment, but like with other technologies developed by the military, night vision goggles and night vision scopes are making their way into mainstream use with increasing regularity. Whos using them?Nature lovers are also using night vision goggles and scopes to view wildlife after dark. Many nocturnal creatures can be sighted and watched with their use, including owls for birding enthusiasts, and mammals such as bobcats, bears, flying squirrels, fox, and coyotes. Many nature watchers dont realize how much there is to see after dark in their back yard or nearby park until they have the needed equipment to do the viewing. Night vision goggles open up that world to serious nature observers who have the money to purchase the equipment.

If you plan to purchase night vision goggles or night vision scopes, be sure to check local laws concerning their use, particularly for hunting purposes. Using the equipment for observation and surveillance should not be a problem as long as the use is consistent with laws governing surveillance in general.

Choosing a Night Vision Rifle Scope

(Anchortex-AOG-2010-0001)

Generation 1Night vision systems are rated in terms of Generation, or Gen for short. There are three broad Generation levels, each signifying a significant leap in technological development over the previous generation of night vision equipment. Each generation of night vision equipment offers a significant improvement in functional range, expected lifespan, and image resolution over its predecessor. A top-of-the-line commercial Generation 3 rifle scope such as the Night Optics D-760-3A (http://www.anchortex.com/products/N600611) can withstand the recoil of heavy-caliber weapons while providing target recognition out to a quarter of a mile away, ensuring that even at night, you'll be aiming at the right target.Hunters, wildlife management officers, and game control agencies often use night vision rifle scopes and other night vision equipment to assist in deer hunting, varmint control, and other activities that are easier at night. The right night vision scope can make the difference between a perfect shot and the buck that got away.Generation 3Generation 1 night vision equipment is designed to function under standard ambient light conditions (moonlight or starlight) or with sufficient IR illumination. It typically makes use of an S-20 photocathode with average photosensitivity of 180-200 A/lm coupled with electron acceleration to achieve gain. Generation 1 devices are known to suffer from geometric distortion (the fish-eye effect). Gen 1 image intensifiers have a duty cycle of approximately 1,500 hours of continuous operation. The most advanced level of night vision technology currently available, Gen 3 uses gallium-arsenide photocathodes with photosensitivity of more than 800 A/lm in the 450 to 950 nanometer (near infrared) region of the spectrum, with a microchannel plate for gain. An ion barrier film coats the microchannel plate, extending the life of the end product. Gen 3 night vision provides excellent performance even under extreme low light levels. Mil-spec versions of Generation 3 night vision equipment have practically no perceptible distortion, while even civilian equipment provides substantial advantages in clarity over its predecessors. A typical Generation 3 image intensifier has a duty cycle of approximately 10,000 hours of continuous operation. With hunting season approaching, now is an excellent time to invest in a new night vision scope, high-visibility outdoor wear, hiking boots, and other survival and outdoor gear. In addition to our listed brands, we have products from over 120 manufacturers to suit your needs on your next hunting trip - just call for quotes.Generation 2 devices are prone to significantly less distortion than Gen 1 devices, and provide better-than-satisfactory performance under standard low-light levels. They usually rely on an extended-red S-25 photocathode (with minimum photosensitivity of 240 A/lm), plus a microchannel plate to achieve gain. European 'Super Gen' tubes represent the high end of Generation 2 night vision, achieving performance levels similar to early Gen 3 intensifier equipment. Gen 2 image intensifiers have a duty cycle of approximately 2,500 to 3,000 hours of continuous operation.

Night Vision: Not Just An Ordinary Spy Device

At the mention of night vision devices, images can come to mind like spy and action movies, soldiers scouring an area with the device at night, helicopters hovering overhead aiding the police in tracking fugitives or detectives using the device to spy on people they were assigned to track.

Many animals have this capacity to see through the dark. Animals that can hunt at night uses a larger optical aperture, an improved composition in the retina, optics that are more photo-efficient that enables them to use weak lights and see better in the dark.In theory the human eye can see these weaker sources of lights but the brain has a way of filtering out these lights that we are only capable of seeing a very limited number of photons. With the aid of a night vision device, these photons intensified by the photo multiplier tube enables us to see different colors of lights in a subject. When seen though and NVD, an image that is nearly invisible becomes observable. One uses the Image enhancement where the night vision device enables the viewer to see images by collecting tiny amounts of light that may already be imperceptible and amplifying it to make the image visible. The other is through thermal imaging where the heat emitted by the subject is used and translated into images. The principle is that hotter objects tend to transmit more light than the cooler ones like stones and trees.Night vision devices are actually light enhancing and thermal imaging tools. It makes a particular subject visible by the warmth it emits or observable by using limited light. It enhances a spectral range making the viewer see lights and images that would otherwise have been invisible to the bare human eye. The normal human eye is capable to seeing images that are confined to a certain electromagnetic spectrum that the brain interprets. Night vision devices may use another source of light that enhances images enabling the user to detect objects that improves the detection capacity of the normal eye.Night vision devices were originally intended for military use to aid them in tracking down an opponent at night. It has evolved now into many different uses.Night vision devices that most people are familiar with are the night vision goggles. This night vision device has an image intensifier that converts weak lights from the near infrared spectrum to visible images that enables the eye to see objects as far as 200 feet in near complete darkness. This night vision device displays a green image because the peak sensitivity of the human vision is near the green range. It also uses two different technologies depending on your choice of the night vision device. Some of the more common applications for the night vision devices are entertainment, hidden-object detection, hunting, law enforcement, military, navigation, security, surveillance and wildlife observation

Hands on image editing

Hands-on IMAGE EDITING by Barbara Robertson

DIGITAL VIDEOTo display 16 colors takes four bits per pixel; to display 256, eight per pixel; to get enough onscreen colors to simulate a landscape takes 15 to 24 bits per pixel which buys you 32,000 to 16 million colors. When these numbers are tied to onscreen resolution, imaging gets expensive and processing intensive.CAPTURE AND DISPLAYThe amount of processing power needed for a digital image is determined by resolution -- the number of pixels used in the onscreen mosaic -- and by color. The "depth" of each pixel, that is, how many bits of data are assigned to it, determines the number of colors available (with a few tricky exceptions to the rule). The more pixels and the more bits per pixel, the closer a digital image comes to reality.WHEN disparate technologies converge, opportunities arise for pioneering souls with the vision and resources to take advantage of the new, emerging medium. Recently, three areas of technology have been merging -- video, computer graphics, and publishing. While many people are aware of the revolution in computer-aided publishing, few know of the connection between video and computer graphics, and only a handful are aware of the connections being crafted among all three.Today, multiple forces from at least four sectors -- engineering, image processing (medical, seismic, military), publishing/printing, and the video industry -- are driving down the price of frame grabbers and frame buffers.Strictly black-and-white images like those on a Macintosh require relatively little image-processing power since each pixel can be only black or white -- which helps keep hardware costs low and the programming task relatively simple. But when each pixel can be numerous colors, imaging begins to get sophisticated.AT&T'S WONDER BOARDAT&T also sells a painting package, TIPS, developed by Island Graphics specifically for this board. Although other software companies offer painting packages for the TARGA 16, TIPS, expensive at $1250, is still the lowest priced and the best value. The machines used by people to create the most spectactular effects cost millions -- a Cray for last year's sexy robot in the can commercial and this year's Mick Jagger "Hard Woman" music video, several Ridges for the long-running "Entertainment Tonight" logo. And the companies which produce these effects charge thousands for the service. (A flying, three-dimensional logo such as those used to introduce TV sports and movies can cost $5,000 a second, for example.) However, the price of the technology used to create these effects is being driven down by market pressure, and along the way, some interesting products for personal computers have evolved.Colors are important not just for "matching" reality, but also for "antialiasing." Antialiasing smooths the jagged lines that square/rectangular pixels are doomed to create by using color shades to blend the stair steps into the background. It thus tricks the eye into believing the lines are straight. The digital world of computers crashed headlong into the analog world of video in the early 1980s. The results, seen nightly on network television by millions of people, include a variety of special effects: flying beer cans, racing razors, and other animated objects that populate TV commercials; three-dimensional, rotating logos; bizarre distortions of reality like Max Headroom; the flights of fantasy on MTV; and the less startling graphics used for news, sports, and weather. Yet, amazingly, the million-dollar hardware, software, and service industry that creates these video-graphics is less than three years old.Since videotape runs at 30 frames per second, in order to capture a frame in "real time," computer hardware must convert the incoming video image into a digital picture in one-thirtieth of a second. Computer graphics, boards that do this are called "frame grabbers." ("Image digitizers" such as MacVision and Thunderscan (WER #47, p. 40) also convert analog signals into digital pictures, but not in "real time.") The result is a digital image made up of a mosaic of pixels -- tiny onscreen squares (or rectangles). Graphics boards that hold digital images are called "frame buffers."But until recently, image digitizers available for microcomputers merely translated video images into monochrome digital pictures, and then "pseudocolored" the image using mathematical algorithms to replace shades of grey with colors -- usually displaying no more than 256 colors onscreen. The result could be bizarre -- if the same shade of grey, for example, appeared in a tree leaf and on a person's face, the computer might put spots on green on someone's cheek, or flesh tones in leaves. What's more, the image digitizers captured pictures slowly -- many took one to two seconds to scan an image, so any movement would significantly blur the result. For high-quality, full-page printed images, pictures need a minimum of 2048 x 2048 pixel resolution which translates to approximately 200 printed lines per inch for an 8" x 10" picture. (The smaller the printed image, the higher the printed resolution appears since the pixels are compressed into a smaller space). Imagine the processing power and programming sophistication required to manage more than four million pixels, each with a long tail of bits following behind. The cost is reflected in the price of all the components -- from the board itself, to monitors that can display the image, to software that works with it.Videographics exist largely because computers can now capture and hold images in semiconductor memory in real time. Once a picture is in digital form, the image can be easily modified -- cut and pasted and painted on, color corrected, merged with other pictures. The result can be put back onto videotape or printed. Indeed, nearly everything you see on television has passed through a digital "still store" system, and very expensive computer graphics systems have been developed that allow easy editing of these digital, moving video images. With these systems, artists can easily change the appearance of a person in a videotape, add people to a crowd scene, and change day into night through simple cut and paste and painting functions. The alternations to the original videotape cannot be detected.Although the ability to quickly edit a video sequence is not available on microcomputers yet, it is now possible to transfer a video picture into a computer and edit that one frame. This ability to alter real-life images has some interesting applications in the none-video world.About two years ago a small group of engineers organized as an entrepreneurial group under AT&T's wing opened their offices in AT&T's former House of the Future in Indianapolis, Indiana. Last year, the EPICenter (Electronic Picture and Imaging Center) introduced a bombshell -- the TARGA 16, a combination frame grabber and frame buffer that works on household IBM PCs and compatibles. The board is pricey, $2995, but it's unique -- the first, and still the only, graphics board in its price range for a microcomputer that 1) captures and digitizes video images in real time; 2) displays images with enough colors to simulate a video picture (32,768 colors) in video resolution (512 x 480) 3;) generates a standard NTSC video signal (which means TARGA pictures can be transferred to videotape and broadcast on American television); 4) allows an incoming analog video signal to be mixed onscreen with the digital picture (genlock).

AT&T also sells a painting package, TIPS, developed by Island Graphics specifically for this board. Although other software companies offer painting packages for the TARGA 16, TIPS, expensive at $1250, is still the lowest priced and the best value.

Eye of the - emotional - storm

Eye of the (emotional) storm

Zisman made his living in the Israeli textile industry before moving to the United States in 1972 and becoming a founding partner in the Anna Miller Pies chain. He said he sold his interest in the pie concern in 1981 to capitalize on the groundswell of interest in fresh pastas and upscaled take-out with the opening of PastaBella I a year later. On one side, customers slide trays along a line that is framed overhead by strings of dried peppers, garlic, and deli meats and zigs and zags around wine racks and display cases packed with salads, desserts, and cheeses.PastaBella II, with its 20-foot-high ceiling and two walls made almost entirely of glass, has a striking, wide-open feeling and three different faces.Photo: Customers file past the retail goods display at the original Pasta Bella in the Embarcadero Center in San Francisco. The sale of retail items, including sauces and even a house-blend coffee, accounts for 10 percent of total sales at both restaurants, Zisman said. And during the warmer spring and summer months, he said, better than half of his business is take-out, with pasta salads responsible for most of that traffic.

Fifteen patients experienced recurrences of the eye problemseveral minutes to three days after new psychological disturbances, they add. The disturbances were not as severe, however, as those that had preceded the initial vision loss.

PastaBella II leads a dual existence; a deli during the day, it transforms into a restaurant at night

PastaBella II leads a dual existence

At PastaBella I the pastaonly menu leads to relatively low food costs of 23 percent to 25 percent, Zisman said; the deli format keeps labor costs to about 23 percent of sales. The PastaBella I and II arangement can work in other markets, Zisman believes. Both units are "very profitable' at the unit level, Zisman said, but the commissary, which was designed to support up to 12 delis, is putting him in the red. He said he is looking for outside investors to help fund expansion and buy out his silent partner.A deli during the day, it transforms into a restaurant at nightDespite thick carpeting, the back half of the restaurant, with its wire mesh bucket seats, chrome trim, mirrors, and raised wall art, has a harder-edged ambience. The black and gray paint scheme intensifies that feeling.A 1,200-square-foot operation, PastaBella I brought in about $600,000 last year through the sale of cold and warm pasta dishes, pastries, coffee drinks, imported wines and beers, boxed lunches, and groceries ranging from pancetta (Italian bacon) to dried porcini mushrooms."Many restaurants serve six ounces to eight ounces of steak for twelve to sixteen dollars; what we do is give three to four ounces of steak, leveraged with a good pasta, and charge half the price,' Zisman said of his food philosphy.Zisman said the synergistic system he began work on four years ago will be complete when he opens several more deli-retail outlets like his PastaBella I at the Embarcadero Center.Vision loss, they note, is not a direct result of the personalitytraits observed in some patients. The traits tend to stoke up daily tensions, emotional distress and physiological arousal. "These in turn may set in motion retinal vascular and blood pressure changes that predispose the individual to central serous chorioretinopathy," propose Gelber and Schatz.Chronic high blood pressure or blood pressure jumps duringsuccessive incidents of stress may weaken capillaries near the retina and increase the likelihood of developing central serous chorioretinopathy, suggest the researchers. The sound of his Israeli accent makes it clear that he was not born to sell Italian food, but that apparently has not proved a handicap. Both of his restaurants have been reviewed favorably in the consumer press on several occasions, and the pasta they put out has been voted the best in the city by readers of a local magazine. The two of them invested about $250,000 in PastaBella I, $500,000 in PastaBella II, and $200,000 in the commissary and corporate offices, Zisman said.Fifteen patients experienced recurrences of the eye problemseveral minutes to three days after new psychological disturbances, they add. The disturbances were not as severe, however, as those that had preceded the initial vision loss.Zisman said additional delis would permit him to fully profit from the name recognition and perception of quality created by the showcase Fremont Street restaurant. And, he said, they would help pay the overhead incurred in operating a 7,000-square-foot commissary that supplies both restaurants and about 100 wholesale customers with dozens of different fresh pastas, breads, and pastries.A neon sculpture riding on two beams divides the two areas from on high. It's common knowledge that carrots, as a rich source ofvitamin A, are useful in preventing night blindness. So when night blindness showed up among malnourished individuals, researchers assumed it was because a protein shortage disrupted the transport of vitamin A to the eye from its storage in the liver, says Daniel Bankson, a clinical biochemist at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. While a protein shortage will disrupt vitamin A transport, Bankson says, his recent research, done while he was at the Agriculture Department's Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging in Boston, indicates that is not necessarily the primary reason malnutrition affects night vision.Six desserts are usually on the menu, including Italian bread pudding, $3.25, and various flavors of gelati (Italian ice cream), $2, and up to six daily specials, such as a white chocolate and fresh raspberry tart.Included on the PastaBella II menu are four antipasti, such as roasted red pepers in virgin olive oil and garlic with mozzarella and anchovies, priced $4.95 to 7.95; four salads, $3 to $8.95; two soups, $2.75 to $3.25; and seven pasta salads in appetizer and main course sizes, including red and white seashell pasta, fresh mussels, bay shrimp, and calamari tossed with a lemon, garlic, and olive oil dressing, $3 to $7.45.Though a lack of capital has slowed expansion plans, Zisman said, he is ready to grow and has compiled a training manual and the other systems needed by a larger company.Photo: Pasta Bella creator Tali Zisman in his company's commissary where fresh pasta is made. After 5 p.m., PastaBella II patrons, who earlier might have helped themselves to fresh-baked brioche and coffee at breakfast or a cold angel hair pasta salad at lunch, can return for a grilled duck breast dinner and table service.Rats fed a growth-stunting diet (having only a third to a fifthof their normal protein intake) along with four times the daily requirement for vitamin A suffered night blindness, despite maintaining sufficient levels of vitamin A in the eye. Rats fed a fully balanced diet, but with only enough calories to maintain the size and weight of animals on the protein-deficient diet, suffered even worse night vision--again while maintaining normal eye levels of vitamin A. Bankson says this suggests that a lack of protein and/or energy can also cause night blindness.Among the PastaBella II entrees are seven warm pastas, including spinach and egg ravioli stuffed with ricotta, basil, and lemon and topped with marinara sauce and mascarpone cheese, $6.95 to $9.95; and seven grilled meat, poultry, and fish items, such as fresh whole rainbow trout wrapped in pancetta with bay leaves, $8.95 to $13.95.Alcoholic beverage sales at PastaBella II, where the full-service bar is fronted by 22 stools, contribute 18 percent of sales, Zisman said. Wine and beer sales represent about 8 percent of sales at PastaBella I.He also said the average Pasta Bella II ticket, with beverage, is about $7 at the counter and $12 in the table-service section, where prices are about 20 percent higher. Food costs there run 23 percent to 27 percent of sales, and labor, about 27 percent of sales, he said. The two-year-old chameleonlike restaurant on Fremont Street, near the financial district, does about $1.3 million in annual sales and is part of Tali Zisman's unrealized vision of a broad-based food-service system.Photo: Alicia Orellana, a baker, with loaf cakes prepared at PastaBella II's company commissary. The purpose and appearance of the two sections are somewhat blurred at night when gray cloths are thrown over the tables up front and the lights are dimmed along the line to create an airy but intimate atmosphere. The back half, where table service is available at lunch, becomes the lounge. The floor up front is tiled, and the walls and ceiling are painted in gradually darkening shades of gray; the upholstery used on the banquettes and chairs is red, and so are the two dozen low-hanging lamps. His eye problem was not "all in his had"--he had a disorderknown as central serous chorioretinopathy, in which vision is reduced because of detachment of the retina at the area of most acute vision. Although its causes are unknown, this problem predominantly occurs among men aged 30 to 50 years, and in most cases the retina reattaches and good vision returns after several weeks or months. The 41-year-old carpenter had been, in his own words,"happily married." But then his wife unexpectedly spent the night out, eliciting in him a wave of rage and jealousy fueled by his certainty that she had had an affair. Two days after the traumatic incident, he lost the vision in one eye.

Night blind? Carrots may not help

At the 3,500-square-foot 150-seat Fremont Street unit, pasta products account for 80 percent of food sales. Even so, Zisman said, the most consistently popular menu item is the fresh fish of the day.

Rats fed a growth-stunting diet (having only a third to a fifthof their normal protein intake) along with four times the daily requirement for vitamin A suffered night blindness, despite maintaining sufficient levels of vitamin A in the eye. The Needs, Symptoms, Incidence, Global Eye Health Trends (NSIGHT) study surveyed 3,800 spectacle- and contact lens-corrected subjects, 15 to 65 years of age, from seven different countries (China, Korea, Japan, France, Italy, United Kingdom, United States) to better understand the eye-related symptoms that vision-corrected patients experience. The NSIGHT data provided valuable details on how often patients experienced halos and glare and the degree to which they found them bothersome.NSIGHT Study Highlights:"We know that during low-light situations, our pupils become larger, and halos and glare are more prevalent. This means everyday activities, such as driving at night, can be impacted as our vision is affected by spherical aberration," said Nick Dash, BSc, MCOptom. "It is important for eye care professionals to discuss vision in low-light situations with their patients to ensure solutions are identified for patients experiencing halos and glare."

Glare and Halos Are Significant Problems for People Wearing Glasses or Contact Lenses

According to a global study of vision-corrected subjects surveyed to better understand eye-related symptoms, halos and glare are common and bothersome symptoms. Halos are the appearance of rings around sources of light while glare is the difficulty seeing in the presence of bright light. The majority of patients who experienced these symptoms reported they were most likely to experience halos or glare in the evening or late at night. The symptoms were commonly associated with bright lights, headlights, being in the dark and nighttime driving.

The Revived Roman Empire

The Bible reveals that in the last days, the world will be ruled by a global government. This will be the first truly global government since the fall of Adam and Eve, and it will be responsible for a terrible amount of destruction and murder before being destroyed by the glorious appearing of Jesus Christ who will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed Daniel 2:44 (NLT).

6) Rome (Johns vision occurred in the 1st Century, when Rome still ruled the known world)He required everyone great and small, rich and poor, slave and free to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name. Revelation 13:16-17 (NLT)Characteristics of the Last World EmpireFortunately, wireless baby safety monitors are very straightforward to use and no installation is required, they can be up and running in seconds. Simply switch the units on and make sure they are in the correct position and youre ready to go. Modern baby safety monitors have progressed significantly so interference is almost eliminated. If you are so concerned then purchase a DECT or digital baby monitor as these do not suffer from interference at all. Baby monitors generally have more than one frequency to choose from so you should find one that is ok for you.Although the word beast is used to describe the person of the Antichrist, its also used in Daniel 7 and Revelation 13 to describe his kingdom as well as previous world empires. The wounded beast is the world empire of ancient Rome, which was never completely destroyed like its predecessors. In the last days, the Roman Empire will appear once again, and the world will marvel at its appearance. The following verse clarifies this concept:7) The Revived Roman EmpireAnd he was given authority to rule over every tribe and people and language and nation. Revelation 13:7 (NLT)Some baby monitors have video capabilities so are great for watching your baby from a remote location maybe other room around the home or out in the garden etc. There are also night vision capabilities so you can watch your baby without having to switch the light on. There are baby monitors which allow a VCR or recording device to be not only watch your baby but recording them too.2) Assyria2) Medo-PersiaHe ordered the people of the world to make a great statue of the first beast, who was fatally wounded and then came back to life. Revelation 13:14 (NLT)In the course of human events since Daniel interpreted the kings dream, all but one of these kingdoms (the last) has appeared and disappeared just as predicted. In order, they are:2) ReligiouslyandIn the last days, this resurrected Roman Empire will rule all of humanity. Its reign will be brief, but it will be like no other kingdom before it. It will be part of a satanic trinity of Satan, Antichrist, and Beast. But the Lord of Heaven clearly reveals the destination of this evil world empire:5) GreeceFive kings have already fallen, the sixth now reigns, and the seventh is yet to come, but his reign will be brief. Revelation 17:10 (NLT)Daniel explains that the statue is a series of kingdoms, beginning with Nebuchadnezzars Babylonia:The Ten Kings3) BabyloniaAs the passage explains, the 10 horns represent 10 kings who, as we learned earlier from Daniel, will grant their power and authority to this final kingdom the revived Roman Empire. Daniel concurs with the vision of the 10 kings, the appearance of an eleventh king, and the defeat of 3 of the 10 kings:4) Medo-Persia3) EconomicallyAnd the angel showed me a pure river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb, coursing down the center of the main street. On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal the nations. No longer will anything be cursed. For the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there, and his servants will worship him. And they will see his face, and his name will be written on their foreheads. And there will be no night there no need for lamps or sun for the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever. Revelation 22:1-5 (NLT)This last empire, symbolized by the feet and toes of iron and clay, will one day constitute the first dictatorship that is truly global in nature. This revived Roman Empire will rule the world in the following ways:4) Rome6) Rome1) BabyloniaThere are many different types, makes and model available on the market today so which is the best safety baby monitor? Nearly all are as good as each other so the best one will depend on the parents personal preference. Some parents will like some more than others it just depends on their requirements. So being aware of some of the features and benefits that are found in baby monitors will help make a more informed choice.3) GreeceAnd now in my vision I saw a beast rising up out of the sea. It had seven heads and ten horns, with ten crowns on its horns. And written on each head were names that blasphemed God. Revelation 13:1 (NLT)Many commentators have applied this attribute to the human head of this global government, the Antichrist. They believe the Antichrist will be resurrected in a satanic attempt to counterfeit the resurrection of Jesus Christ. However, this is a misinterpretation of scripture. The wounded head is the kingdom of the Antichrist, not the person himself. There are two main types of baby safety monitor and these being wireless and wired. A wired monitor is great if interference is a problem in your household as this unit does not suffer from it at all. But this is really the only advantage as these units do need to be installed which requires a degree of DIY or you may need to call a contractor to do the work. Cables will need to be run between both transmitter and receiver units. The receiver unit will be very restricted as to its location, ie it cannot be moved around the house like a wireless unit. Nonetheless these units are very good if you want no interference or a worried someone may be spying on you and tapping into the signal like they could with a wireless baby monitor. And all the people who belong to this world worshiped the beast. Revelation 13:8 (NLT)Every facet of the human experience will be utterly dominated by this global government. All other governments will give way to this powerful government, described as a beast in Daniel Chapter 7. In this chapter, Daniel has a vision of four world empires, represented by beasts. The fourth beast represents Rome:The reign of this oppressive government will be put to an end by the King of Kings Himself, Jesus Christ. When Christ returns to earth, He will destroy this kingdom as well as the Antichrist, throwing both in the lake of fire for eternal torment. He will bind Satan for 1,000 years and set up His own kingdom, ushering in an era of unbridled peace and love that will never end. The apostle John recounts his vision of this blessed kingdom:I saw that one of the heads of the beast seemed wounded beyond recovery but the fatal wound was healed! All the world marveled at this miracle and followed the beast in awe. Revelation 13:3 (NLT)Throughout history seven hills has often been erroneously interpreted as a reference to Rome, the city of seven hills. However, the original Greek is literally interpreted as seven mountains. From Daniel 2:35, we know that a mountain can represent a kingdom, and given the context of the verses, it is proper to interpret these seven mountains as seven kingdoms. The seven heads of the beast represent seven world empires, five of which were referenced earlier by the prophet Daniel. They are, in order of their rule, the following:We also learn from the Book of Revelation, the seventh head of the beast will seem wounded beyond recovery, but the wound will be healed. The following verses reference this recovery:You are the head of gold. But after your kingdom comes to an end, another great kingdom, inferior to yours, will rise to take your place. After that kingdom has fallen, yet a third great kingdom, represented by the bronze belly and thighs, will rise to rule the world. Following that kingdom, there will be a fourth great kingdom, as strong as iron. That kingdom will smash and crush all previous empires, just as iron smashes and crushes everything it strikes. The feet and toes you saw that were a combination of iron and clay show that this kingdom will be divided. Some parts of it will be as strong as iron, and others as weak as clay. This mixture of iron and clay also shows that these kingdoms will try to strengthen themselves by forming alliances with each other through intermarriage. But this will not succeed, just as iron and clay do not mix. Daniel 2:38-43 (NLT)The sixth kingdom now reigns:And now understand this: The seven heads of the beast represent seven hills of the city where this woman rules. They also represent seven kings. Five kings have already fallen, the sixth now reigns, and the seventh is yet to come, but his reign will be brief. The scarlet beast that was alive and then died is the eighth king. He is like the other seven, and he, too, will go to his doom. His ten horns are ten kings who have not yet risen to power; they will be appointed to their kingdoms for one brief moment to reign with the beast. They will all agree to give their power and authority to him. Revelation 17:9-13 (NLT)A baby monitor is made up of two electronic unit and these are the transmitter and receiver units. The transmitter unit is placed in the vicinity of the baby so it listens for nosies made by the baby and the receiver unit stays with the parents and is often carried around on a belt clip or hung around the neck. When the baby wakes up, the parents are alerted straight away so can go to see their baby. Both the beast and his false prophet were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. Revelation 19:20 (NLT)He will live with them, and they will be His people. God Himself will be with them. He will remove all of their sorrows, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. For the old world and its evils are gone forever. Revelation 21:3-4 (NLT)1) Egypt1) PoliticallyThey worshiped the dragon for giving the beast such power, and they worshiped the beast. Revelation 13:4 (NLT)He exercised all the authority of the first beast. And he required all the earth and those who belong in this world to worship the first beast, whose death-wound had been healed. Revelation 13:12 (NLT)Then in my vision that night, I saw a fourth beast, terrifying, dreadful, and very strong. It devoured and crushed its victims with huge iron teeth and trampled what was left beneath its feet. It was different from any of the other beasts, and it had ten horns. As I was looking at the horns, suddenly another small horn appeared among them. Three of the first horns were wrenched out, roots and all, to make room for it. This little horn had eyes like human eyes and a mouth that was boasting arrogantly. Daniel 7:7-8 (NLT)While GPS tracking can help track your location it also works the other ways. You can use GPS tracking to track someones location without them knowing. GPS tracking is used this way in theft deterrent system to help people recover their stolen vehicles. GPS tracking is also a new tool used to track a vehicle when someone is just driving their own car.Why you may want to consider the use for GPS tracking is to track a non stolen vehicle but keep track of the driver. Especially if it is suspected that the driver is up to something unauthorized. GPS tracking can locate where the car is going with out tailing them or running the risk of being caught. GPS tracking devices are available in many different kinds of product at every price level to get the job done. The #1 GPS Vehicle Tracker in the market today is the Spy Matrix GPS. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!

10 Reasons to Install a Security Camera System in the Spring

Spring is finally here! Temperatures are rising, the days are getting longer and there is no sign of snow. Ambitious gardening plans, exotic weekend getaways and neighborhood BBQ's seem to be what everyone is talking about.

- Monitor a boat in a marina via the internetThe aim is not to escape from stress momentarily for a 'breather', it is to develop the ability to maintain normal breathing and heart rate, so that you can stay calm and in control, in any given situation. So here are 10 good reasons to get a security camera system in the springtime:- Monitor your cars in the drivewayThis is all you need to do to relax your body and mind. It's THAT simple. To really benefit you need to practise this 'breathwork' on a daily basis. As the temperatures rise, sadly so does criminal activity. While most of us start planning a much needed weekend getaway or outdoor BBQ, there is some petty criminal planning their next break in or theft. Most people I know think of spring as a time to get a fresh start. Unfortunately there is some jerk out there that just can't wait to vandalize a building or steal a car.As well as fitting security cameras in your home it also pays to take other measures to protect it. Make sure your doors are sturdy and fit adequate locks on them, check with your insurance policy as this will state what standard of lock you are required to fit. Also always lock your doors and windows if going out, even if you are just popping around to the neighbours for a short while, you never know when an opportunist is waiting to strike. But don't stop there! With practice, it is possible to achieve this feeling of peace and calm at any time, enabling you to remain focused and composed even under pressure. Staying calm in a stressful situation is like having night vision when the lights go out - you have a great advantage!Spending more time outside means more kids playing near the street or pool. Untidy dog walkers are the scourge of my neighborhood.- Keep an eye on kids playing in the backyard or around a poolSwann Security has a whole array of 2, 4 and 8 camera DVR security systems that are easy to install and give you advanced features that you never thought would be available to a novice.- Check in on pets when you are on vacation or at workLook for cameras that offer a high resolution and picture quality as they will help identify anyone if it ever comes to reporting a burglary to the police. Lower priced cameras will just produce blurred and grainy images and are not always so clear. If the light is poor then black and white can be just as effective as colour, although if you have the funds available colour will capture a high-resolution image of the intruder and make them easier to identify.Get some advice before installing security cameras as to the type of system that will best fit your needs and where to position them, it's recommended they are placed both inside and outside the premises. You want them to capture as much of the area as possible with no hidden corners or spaces, or objects, that could provide an intruder with a hiding place or prevent their face from being seen clearly. Indoors, place cameras on every floor, covering the stairwell and exterior doors and any other rooms where you may keep or store valuable items. The good news is that we can protect ourselves against all these worries like never before with security camera systems. The selection of security camera products and features available to the do it yourself home owner or small business owner is unprecedented.- Deter criminals from approaching your property(c) Copyright Kim BeardsmoreWe like to think of all the wonderful things that spring brings. It is easy to forget the nuisances of warmer weather. After a few months - broader benefits will become apparent - improved health, improved relationships, better concentration and memory.Often, just the mere presence of a camera system can stop a burglar in their tracks and send them off looking for an easier target. And for yourself it can give peace of mind that your property, family, or business premises are being watched over.

Economical Bushnell Night Imaging Binoculars

As market leaders in the night vision goggles market, Bushnell 2.5x42 Night Vision googles have proved their worth and the quality of their products numerous times for their buyers.

The quality of Bushnell merchandise ensured that their popularity grew over time. You quite likely learn this already, however I'll still inform you just what night vision binoculars will be utilized for:One can see that from these two distinct sensors being integrated into one, a viewer receives a wealth of information pertaining to a single object at the speed of light. In fact, double the information compared to just glancing at an object with their 'Mk 1 Eyeball'.Making use of those two night sight binoculars which i proposed, you won't have to have to stress if it's light or night outdoors, you'll be able to continue on your interests or perhaps your passion as you desire.- backpackingUseful as they are, image intensification and thermal imaging techniques have their limitations. The former requires the presence of at least some ambient light, usually starlight or moonlight, to provide an image (one simply cannot improve something that does not exist). Moreover, intensifiers can also suffer from image distortion by fog and smoke, and cannot see through camouflage. However intensifiers can see through glass, which can present a problem for thermal imagers.Clip-on thermal imaging systems are available from Thermoteknix Systems in the United Kingdom, which took the opportunity of the International Defence Exhibition in Abu Dhabi this February to launch its Clip IR thermal imager. Compatible with a wide range of monocular and binocular night vision goggles, the device gives up to 4.5 hours endurance using a single AA battery. Thermoteknix has designed the Clip IR to operate in a wide range of temperatures and has included an edge outline mode to display images in deep clarity. At the heart of Clip IR lies the Thermoteknix shutterless Microcam thermal imaging core that prohibits any interruption to the imaging.- patrolling throughout the darkLike Sofradir and Thales, Sagem of France provides military electro-optical equipment that supports image fusion. On 18 January 2011, the company celebrated the award of a contract from the French DGA procurement agency for 1175 Jim-LR2 long-range multifunction infrared binoculars to equip the country's armed forces. The camera uses both visible and infrared channels allowing the user to see at night, through smoke and bad weather and through camouflage during the day.Despite being a relatively recent development, image fusion devices already are available and in use. Israel's Elbit Systems Electro-Optics (El-Op) division provides the Mars thermal imager, which combines an uncooled thermal imager and a conventional daylight camera. The hand-held Mars is already in service with the Israel Defense Force.Conventional visual sensors, such as daylight cameras, can indeed display an image in particularly high resolution, but will not pick a camouflaged or visually concealed heat source. Thermal imaging adds depth to this picture by revealing the hot and cold areas of an object. Even in daylight, a thermal imager can provide useful information regarding heat radiation that could help to determine whether a vehicle's engine is still warm from recent use.

Making use of those two night sight binoculars which i proposed, you won't have to have to stress if it's light or night outdoors, you'll be able to continue on your interests or perhaps your passion as you desire.
