The 1st operational flight of the NVCD/ ANVIS was conducted by the Royal Danish Air Drive (RDAF) as aspect of Operation Unified Protector, in Libya, where the RDAF are participating in the enforcement of the No Fly Zone. The JHMCS delivers the pilot with "foremost seem, initial shot" higher off-boresight weapons engagement capabilities. The procedure enables the pilot to correctly cue onboard weapons and sensors towards enemy aircraft and ground targets without the need of the want to aggressively turn the aircraft or area the target in the Head Up Display (HUD) area-of-view for designation. Important advice and symbology, like as targeting cues and aircraft effectiveness parameters, are graphically shown immediately on the pilot's visor. "Pilots count on JHMCS to productively execute air-to-air and air-to-ground tactical missions all through daylight. As validated by the RDAF Pilots, our NVCD/ ANVIS process is now matured to grow this critical capability to night missions," ongoing Brugal.
The NVCD/ ANVIS is dependent on a typical pair of ANVIS-F4949 Night Vision Goggles (NVGs), modified with a VSI kit, delivering the pilot with a whole JHMCS symbols and cueing capacity during evening NVGs operation. The flights conducted had been in an RDAF F-sixteen MLU M5 configuration with no modifications necessary to the aircraft. For even more facts about NVCD/ANVIS go to www.vsi-hmcs.com .
