Rochester's Lou Gramm to headline free concert


The Lou Gramm Band takes the stage today as part of the WCMF Dave Kane 30th Anniversary Show at the Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St.


Opening the show will be singer/songwriter Tommy Brunett, a native of upstate New York who draws inspiration from the sounds of Johnny Cash, Tom Petty and Tom Waits. The Coupe De Villes will play in the middle slot of the show. The five-man rhythm and blues band was formed in Rochester in 1985 and blends the emotion of Chicago blues with the driving power of rock 'n' roll.Gramm was the vocalist for the band Foreigner for more than 26 years and also had a solo career.
